 FAQ

 Installation

Just run the runall.sh script and answer the questions.
You will get the installation result in output.$$ file (in case of problem).

 Usage and features

At the end of the installation process, nagios should be up and running.
You can manage it through its Web interface.

A new "Administration" option in the left menu allows you to manage the configuration files.

Other new menu options give you a direct access to Blosxom4Nagios, NagTrap, NagVis or graphs generated by MRTG with nagiostats output.

With EZNag, you don't need neither MySQL database neither import/export functions:
everything is automatically imported in a small SQLite database and you are always warned when synchronization is needed.

The "Extended Info" option can be used to associate graphical icons to hosts and services.

The "Populate with nmap" option can help to create hosts and services from a nmap scan of from a nmap scan result provided as a XML file.
